This is what I learned from cooking traditional food:
Ihe mụtara site na isi nri ndi Igbo: Ọna enye m udo, na obi aṅurị. Ọna echetara m n’ abu nwa afọ igbo.
Things learned from cooking Igbo food: It gives me peace, my heart is sweetened. It reminds me of my root as an Igbo person.
Instruction:
Okwesiri ka onye igbo ọbuna mara ka esi, esi ihe eri-meri igbo ebe ọbuna onye ahụ nọ.
It’s important for any Igbo person to know how to cook all kinds of Igbo food delicacies wherever that person lives.
Ihe eji esi osikapa jollof (Ingredients you have/need to cook jollof rice)
1. Mmanu nri (cooking oil)
2 mkpụrụ tomato (tomatoe paste)
3. Anu esiri esi/ azụ (cooked meat or fried fishes)
4. Ginger
5. Curri
6.Annu (salt)
7.mkpụrụ magị (maggi seed/cube)
8. Onions ( iyabas)
Paraboil rice
